Thanks For Visiting

4/25/2018 – It’s been quite a while since I updated this site, so I’m sorry to those who follow along. As a consolation, I have been keeping @wanderingbybicycle on Instagram somewhat updated. Anyway, I’ve taken this summer of from traveling and instead, am working in beautiful Haines Alaska guiding kayakers. It’s not a bad compromise. Safe Travels!

Another season of guiding has come to a close and this @trekalaska trip to Skolai was a perfect ending. #travelalaska #explorealaska #wrangellstelias #wilderness #backpacker

@ginjaninja907 taking a high route through the crevasses of the Kennicott Glacier. We were headed to the back of the glacier valley for an unsuccessful trip up Packsaddle Island. #trekalaska #explorealaska #donoholakes #backpacker #kennicottglacier #wilderness
I just returned from a five day backpacking trip with a great group of people. We explored some new areas around the Iceberg Lake area in Wrangell St. Elias National Park and summited a nearby peak. #travelalaska #trekalaska #explorealaska #wrangellstelias #wilderness #backpacker
I've been back in McCarthy for two days and I leave in two days for a @trekalaska trip to the Iceberg Lake area, in the south central part of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. I came across this plateau on an evening hike last time I was there and I hope to camp here (away from the water) on this trip. #travelalaska #explorealaska #trekalaska #wrangellsteliasnationalpark #wilderness #adventure #backpacker #guidelife
The route I scouted for @trekalaska and @coppervalleyair between the Dadina River and Chelle Lake has seen very little human traffic, but there are still plenty of trails. In the lowlands by the river bison carved paths a trail crew would appreciate, and up in the tundra caribou trails marked the way. #travelalaska #trekalaska #wrangellsteliasnationalpark #wilderness #backpacker #hmgtribe
